The CRIAI is by law, the lead governmental agency in addressing and preventing corruption. However, it cannot succeed without strong and broad-based partnerships with every official and every citizen at the community, national, regional and international levels.

Cooperation, Coordination and Advocacy;

Information Dissemination, Education and Public Awareness;

Preventive and transparency Measures through a Code Of Conduct and Enacted Government Laws, including laws related to Access to information, Whistle Blowing and Income and Asset Disclosure;

Investigation and Prosecution of Alleged Corruption Practices at the highest and lowest levels of the Liberian society;

Recovery of assets and restitution of proceeds of acts of corruption;

Research into the causes, manifestations and hidden dimensions of corruption.

The Mission of Anti Corruption is to prevent, address and reduce corruption in the public and private sectors and to promote good governance, integrity and the rule of law.

Ensure a coordinated, consistent, effective, realistic, and sustained fight Against Corruption;

Promote transparency, accountability, integrity and access to information at all levels of society in Liberia’s Fight Against Corruption;

Engage and work with the citizens of Liberia and the government, business, education and national/community based organizations in the Fight Against Corruption;

Provide a governmental and non-governmental framework for the effective participation coordination, monitoring, evaluation and review of anti-corruption activities in the Fight Against Corruption;

Break the culture of impunity that has engulfed Liberia by punishing people fairly, but effectively in keeping with rule of law in Liberia’s Fight Against Corruption;
